Recently we’re experiencing what in fundraising circles is called “an average contribution dip.” In April our average online contribution was $31.98. This month? It’s $29.28.

When you’re old like me (I’m 74 years and 8 days old), birthdays don’t feel like that big of a deal. But all your generous support this past week reminded me how great it can be.

So, a Democratic County executive defeated the three-term Republican mayor of Omaha by ten points on Tuesday.

If you didn’t already hear, in the last election cycle we were able to give out nearly $1 MILLION bucks — double the giving rate of other PACs. This cycle we’re aiming even higher.
