Sometimes profanity is appropriate. For example, on the anniversary of the Dobbs decision. Fuck Thomas, Roberts, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney Barrett!
June is Pride Month because it commemorates the 1969 Stonewall Riots in Greenwich Village. On June 28, 1969, the NYPD raided The Stonewall Inn where gays and lesbians were known to gather. Why not raid the place, arrest people, and drag them out into the street?
Later, I’ll be celebrating Father’s Day with my dad and our family, but first, I’m hoping you’ll help me make this Father’s Day extra special for my dad by contributing to Midwest Values PAC.
This email may be slightly longer than my typical one, but only because it includes a staggering list of accomplishments by the Democratic Farmer Labor party this session in the Minnesota state legislature and signed by our DFL Governor Tim Walz.
For those of you who don’t know, one of the unions I belong to, the Writers Guild of America, is on strike right now. The immediate impact to you is that you aren’t seeing late night shows. You might recall that I wrote on a late-night show called Saturday Night Live for fifteen seasons.
