A year ago, The New York Times enumerated more than 400 attacks on “The Great Replacement Theory” by Tucker Carlson on his Fox News program. Democrats, Tucker told his audience, are doing everything they can to replace white “legacy” Americans with immigrants of color who will vote for Democrats.

Somehow, we have a judicial system that allows anti-choice militants to cherry-pick a radical anti-choice judge to make a decision to outlaw medication-assisted abortions in this country based, not on science, but on his own religious, anti-scientific views about what is and isn’t best for women.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
