Well this is embarrassing…

Vice President Kamala Harris has Trump and his supporters nervous. 

Elon Musk went from promising Trump $45 million a month, to promising something “at a much lower level,” to denying that he ever promised the money in the first place.

All of the enthusiasm for Vice President Harris (to the tune of $200 million!) has been encouraging to see. And seeing Musk backtrack is a bonus!

We have to keep this up, because people like Musk want Trump in the White House so they can buy influence everywhere they can get it — from the halls of Congress to the Supreme Court.

The only way to prevent that from happening is by sending Vice President Harris to the White House, winning the Senate, and flipping the House. MVP is involved in the presidential race, all of the battleground Senate races, key House races, and a bunch more critical down-ballot contests.

With your help (or maybe not), we’ve been able to max out contributions to Jon Tester in Montana, Jacky Rosen in Nevada, Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Angela Alsobrooks in Maryland, and Colin Allred in Texas. And, of course, to Vice President Harris. But we can only help to the extent that you help MVP.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
