Trump: a whole civilization will die tonight

Trump has completely lost it. He’s mentally unstable and profoundly unfit to be Commander-in-Chief. Here’s what he posted this morning:

I try my best to bring some levity to these emails. You know, to ease the pain. But there is nothing funny about a President openly threatening nuclear action, flirting with war crimes, and showing a complete disregard for international law.

Congress has a chance to stop this. Trump’s cabinet has a chance to stop this. But they won’t because, as they’ve shown us time and again, they are only loyal to Donald Trump. Not the Constitution. And certainly not to you. 

Winning the midterms may be our only real shot at holding Trump and the collection of deeply unqualified, enthusiastically sycophantic war hawks surrounding him accountable. So please donate to Midwest Values PAC so we can continue investing in the candidates who will help Democrats flip the House and the Senate, restore some basic sanity, and — this is key — put actual guardrails back on power.

We’ve faced tough moments before as a country. But we’ve never had a moment quite like this — where the danger is this immediate and the people in charge are this unwilling to act.

So we act.

P.S. Vice President JD Vance is currently abroad campaigning for Hungarian dictator Viktor Orbán. Which is… not exactly reassuring.
