Ted Cruz accidentally tells the truth

I’ve often said that I like Ted Cruz more than most of my colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz.

He’s a uniquely terrible person — a rabid COVID denier who fled to Cancun while his constituents were literally freezing in the dark. But as much as it pains me to say this, Ted Cruz is no idiot.

Which is why I couldn’t help but smile when I read this recent reporting from Axios. According to the article, Ted Cruz warned Donald Trump:

Now, I don’t usually agree with Ted Cruz. But on this? He’s absolutely right.

Ted’s prediction lines up perfectly with MVP’s goal for 2026: Taking back the House and Senate in the midterms so we can stop the worst of the damage and hold this administration accountable.

Here’s the thing — predictions don’t come true on their own. They take work. They take organizing. And they take money.
