Pity the Fool!

May 21st marks the birthday of Mr. T and, also, me. Pity the fool who doesn’t see this as the perfect opportunity to support Midwest Values PAC in our effort to make sure November 5th is a happy day for us all.

Last month, MVP sent hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to Democrats at all levels, from secretary of state to state legislature to governor and senator. We can do this only because of your generosity. Pity the fool who doesn’t get that!

And pity the fool who doesn’t see the importance of investing in ground game operations in battleground states. We’ll be sending dollars, as we always do, to smart organizations that get people on the phones and to the doors where the real work happens!

P.S. I feel obligated to let you know that Mr. T has posted on X that he is neither a Republican or a Democrat. But pity the fool who doesn’t appreciate the abuse of a lame conceit!

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Since 2006, Midwest Values PAC has invested more than $4 million in 341 candidates and organizations — and counting. 

Of course, none of this happens without you (or supporters like you) who care enough to pitch in.

As we mark our 20th anniversary, the work is more urgent than ever. This year, we have a big job: flip the House, take the Senate, and win up and down the ballot at the state and local level.

To mark our 20th year, we’ve set an ambitious goal: 26,000 contributions by Election Day 2026.
