Not trying to annoy you!

Let me start by saying, I am not trying to annoy you! I know your inbox is probably flooded with emails urging you to donate now or else! 

Well, let me let you in on a little secret: the world won’t end if you don’t donate to Midwest Values PAC before the FEC deadline tonight, but your support will help in our collective fight to make our country a little bit better. Or at least keep it wholly within the clutches of Trump and Republicans’ hands.

Here’s something else: these emails actually work! When you donate $5, and then someone like you donates $5, it adds up fast! 

And because my team and I put a lot of time and effort into making sure your dollars go to candidates and organizations making the biggest impact, donating to MVP is one of the most effective ways to fuel the unglamorous, on-the-ground work that wins elections.

And winning elections has never been more important…for obvious reasons.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Since 2006, Midwest Values PAC has invested more than $4 million in 341 candidates and organizations — and counting.

As we mark our 20th anniversary, the work is more urgent than ever. This year, we have a big job: flip the House, take the Senate, and win up and down the ballot at the state and local level.

To mark our 20th year, we’ve set an ambitious goal: 26,000 contributions by Election Day 2026.
