I watched Trump’s State of the Union so you didn’t have to. You’re welcome.
It was… exactly what you’d expect. A lot of self-congratulations. A lot of “mission accomplished.” According to the President, the border is fixed, the economy is roaring, and prices are practically falling out of the sky.
But here’s what was missing: any actual vision for the future. No serious plans to lower costs. No real solutions to protect your health care. No acknowledgment that families are still feeling squeezed.
Which raises an important question: What do you actually get for voting Republican in 2026?
The answer: not much. Unless you include their efforts to make it harder to vote, drastically cut your health care, and make sure billionaires get tax breaks.
That’s why Midwest Values PAC is doing everything we can to support Democrats this year. The ones with real ideas to improve people’s lives, real energy, and a real commitment to the people they represent. And it’s up to us to help amplify their voices.
