I hope you’re enjoying your summer. If you’re lucky, that means some time with family. I just got to visit my daughter, Thomasin, who does ceramics, and we made plates together.

Re-upping an old email

Remember this email (see below) that I sent on 4th of July last year about celebrating democracy while we still have it?

Inhumane

The House just passed — and tomorrow Trump will sign — his big monstrosity of a bill, which will increase our national debt another 3-4 trillion dollars, strip health care away from 17 million Americans, and take SNAP food assistance from millions more.

BOMB, BOMB IRAN

It was clear that Trump wanted to bomb Iran. And so he did. On Saturday, seven B-2 bombers flew over 7,000 miles to do just that.

PUHLEEZE!!

I just realized that including “Former (?) Supporter” might encourage some folks receiving these emails to not give.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Since 2006, Midwest Values PAC has invested more than $4 million in 341 candidates and organizations — and counting.
