An impassioned plea!

First, I want to thank all of you who have donated to Midwest Values PAC over the years. As we head into the fall, our ability to help Democrats around the country becomes even more crucial.

Yes, we’ve “maxed out” to many Democrats, but we can still give to ground-game operations in battleground states that will decide the presidential election.

Hi, this is Ashley. As you may remember, I interrupt Al’s emails every so often. Some people think I’m a “conceit,” but I’m not. 

The point is, I, Ashley, think it’s absolutely crucial that we build on the momentum of the Democratic National Convention and do everything we can to elect Democrats in the fall. MVP has maxed to every Democrat running for a competitive Senate seat and is now focusing on battleground states that will decide whether our next president is Kamala Harris or, God forbid, Donald Trump.  

Please help, so Al doesn’t kick me off these emails!

It’s Al again. Ashley’s heart is in the right place. And I hope her somewhat desperate plea motivates you to help MVP help make the coming election the success we all so passionately desire.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Since 2006, Midwest Values PAC has invested more than $4 million in 341 candidates and organizations — and counting. 

Of course, none of this happens without you (or supporters like you) who care enough to pitch in.

As we mark our 20th anniversary, the work is more urgent than ever. This year, we have a big job: flip the House, take the Senate, and win up and down the ballot at the state and local level.

To mark our 20th year, we’ve set an ambitious goal: 26,000 contributions by Election Day 2026.
