You’re not imagining it — everything is worse!

Somehow, it’s only been one year since Donald Trump returned to the White House.

I know. It feels longer. Much longer.

Still, we “made it”. And given everything, that’s not nothing. But if the next three years are going to be even remotely survivable, we have to keep pushing and doing the work.

That’s why I’m asking you to donate to MVP today — so we can win key races across the country and take back the House and Senate in the midterms. That’s how we can stop the worst of the damage and hold this administration accountable.

In just one year, Trump has managed to:

  • Tank the economy with reckless tariffs
  • Kick millions of Americans off their health care
  • Decimate USAID and destroy our soft power
  • Deploy ICE and our National Guard to occupy and cause chaos in our cities.
  • Cut millions of dollars from scientific and medical research
  • Bail out Argentina while U.S. farmers struggled under his trade war
  • Demolish the East Wing to build himself a $400 million ballroom
  • Sheesh…I almost forgot we now are running Venezuela

And somehow during all of this, Trump’s family doubled its net worth. Billionaires got $1.5 trillion richer. 

The rest of us? Higher food prices. Higher utility bills. Higher health care and housing costs.

As I’m writing this email, the price of coffee went up. Again! It’s time to end the madness.

We’ve stopped this before. We can do it again. Please donate $5, $25, or even $100 if you can. Every dollar supports MVP’s work investing in Democratic candidates who can actually win — and govern responsibly.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
