This might sound corny (but hear me out)

Everybody can’t do everything, but everybody can do something. Corny? Possibly. True? Yes!

When I talk about MVP, I’m not talking about some big political machine. My team and I put a lot of time and effort into making sure we support the candidates and organizations making the biggest impact. That’s why donating to MVP is one of the most effective ways to fuel the unglamorous, on-the-ground work that wins elections.

And boy, do we need to win.

That’s how we get a government that’s functional (and open). One that cares about whether you have access to affordable health care (or access at all). And one that understands that Americans prefer democracy (not autocracy).

And here’s the good news: we can win! Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen to -18, the lowest it’s ever been — even lower than any point in his first term!

We have 5 days to stop Trump and his MAGA henchmen in Virginia and New Jersey and make gains toward restoring our collective sanity. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to donate — this is it. (We checked. No other signs are coming.)

Thanks,

Al

P.S. Congratulations to MVP supporters Wendy and Bradley! They both won a very rare piece of pottery created by yours truly! (Well — created by my daughter, Thomasin, and me. In truth, she did most of the heavy lifting since she’s the ceramist in the family.)
