Wow! It really does work!

Wow. Turns out when you just ask people to “donate,” they actually… do.

Thousands of you stepped up after our last Least Annoying Ask™—and now we’re only $4,381 away from hitting our $10,000 goal before midnight.

At this point, all we need is:

  • 1 very generous person to give $4,381
  • Or 10 people to give $438.10
  • Or 100 people to give $43.81
  • Or…you get it. (There won’t be a quiz.)

However you slice it, we’re almost there—and every dollar helps us support campaigns and causes that are going to make a real difference.

So if you can, and you like scientifically low-annoyance fundraising emails…

Let’s end July better than we started it. Because how did we start this month?

Oh right: Trump signed a GOP bill into law that adds $3.4 trillion to the debt and kicks millions off health care—so that billionaires can afford slightly larger, more gold-adorned yachts.

Yikes.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Since 2006, Midwest Values PAC has invested more than $4 million in 341 candidates and organizations — and counting.

As we mark our 20th anniversary, the work is more urgent than ever. This year, we have a big job: flip the House, take the Senate, and win up and down the ballot at the state and local level.

To mark our 20th year, we’ve set an ambitious goal: 26,000 contributions by Election Day 2026.
