Inhumane

The House just passed — and tomorrow Trump will sign — his big monstrosity of a bill, which will increase our national debt another 3-4 trillion dollars, strip health care away from 17 million Americans, and take SNAP food assistance from millions more.

Trump was able to muscle the bill through, even though the latest Quinnipiac poll showed that 55% opposed the bill, while only 29% favored it, and the remaining 16% were unsure.

All this, of course, was made possible because Republicans control the White House, the House, and the Senate.

Next fall, Americans will have a chance to change the balance in the House and the Senate. And Midwest Values PAC will be dedicated to flipping both.

The House will be easier, of course, since every member is up. If Democrats pick up just four seats, we will be able to block legislation. And MVP is confident we can pick up a lot more than just four.

The path in the Senate is much harder, of course, but just became possible because North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis announced that he is not running. That is a seat we can flip! Iowa, Maine, and Ohio are also in play.

With the midterms just over a year away, MVP is dedicated to supporting Democrats in battleground districts and states. I hope you can help!
