Trump Calls Putin’s War “Genius.”

It appears that Sec. of Defense Hegseth has already ruled out two outcomes in the now nascent peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. The borders will not revert back to the original 2014 borders, thereby letting Russia keep Crimea. And Ukraine will not become a member of NATO.

Well, it looks like Trump isn’t bending over backward to help our ally. Which I recall is Ukraine.

How about starting with, Russia invaded Ukraine? A move Trump called “genius.” Aren’t we supposed to support the good guys? And why shouldn’t Ukraine become a member of NATO? That would make perfect sense. Then Russia won’t be able to invade Ukraine again. Without starting a land war with NATO.

And why is Trump talking about going to Russia to meet with Putin? They can meet in Helsinki again. And maybe this time Trump doesn’t have to act the fool.  

There are two sides in this war.  The aggressor’s side and our side.
