That bike ride really did the trick!

What a difference a few days can make. I went from feeling like crap to feeling good! Dare I say hopeful even!

That bike ride really did the trick. So did the enthusiasm and outpouring of support for Kamala Harris, our new Democratic candidate for president — who has Trump and his allies very worried!

  • Elon Musk went from promising Trump $45 million a month to… not doing that.
  • We went from not-so-great polls to polls showing Vice President Harris leading Trump!
  • The GOP went from excitedly announcing JD Vance as Trump’s running mate at the RNC to second-guessing Vance as their pick.

So yeah, I’m feeling pretty good! But you know what? We STILL have to leave it all on the field if we’re going to continue feeling this way after Election Day.

Don’t just sit there. Do whatever you can to help MVP help Democrats this November, from Vice President Harris at the top of the ticket, to the Senate, to the House, to governorships, to state legislatures.

Somehow, it’s been 20 years since I started Midwest Values PAC to help Democrats win elections — from progressive organizations to state legislatures to Congress to the White House — who share the values I grew up with in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
