Tom Udall’s family has been a part of New Mexico since before New Mexico was a state. He served as New Mexico’s Attorney General before being elected to the House of Representatives, where he introduced a bill to create a national renewable electricity standard. Since being elected to the U.S. Senate, he’s voted to repeal Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, and to implement the DREAM Act, the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act. He’s a passionate advocate on behalf of Native Americans and New Mexico’s national parks.
