Sheboygan Press: Letters: Feingold works to project jobs, worker rights

Russ Feingold supports working families. He supports keeping and bringing better paying jobs to Wisconsin.

Feingold’s tax credits to small and large businesses lets them hire more people, increase their wages and increase their hours. Russ opposed all of those trade deals that cost Wisconsin thousands of decent-paying jobs.

On the other hand, his opponent, Ron Johnson, has said he supports NAFTA, CAFTA, and GATT even though those policies cost us jobs, thousands of them. He even described those job losses as “creative destruction.”

Jon Geenen, a vice president of the United Steel Workers, and Wisconsin native, described Johnson as representing big business and that his solutions are to privatize Social Security and put business interests before the rights of workers.
