When I first heard about the decision of both the DNC and the RNC to consider the Twin Cities for their respective conventions in '08, I told several of my friends I was I was hoping for the RNC. This drew some odd stares, but I explained that I had never had the opportunity to organize a protest, and I couldn't think of a better opportunity. Wish granted.
