Congressman Keith Ellison has represented Minnesota’s Fifth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives since taking office on January 4, 2007. He has worked tirelessly to enact a progressive agenda that will strengthen America at home and abroad. He was a leading voice in reforming our nation’s broken health care system, fighting for affordable, secure health care for every American.

As a member of the House Financial Services Committee, Keith is pushing for comprehensive financial reforms that will protect consumers and reign in Wall Street abuses. As a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Keith is promoting peace and helping strengthen democratic institutions in developing countries, fostering a safer world.

In 2010, Keith is seeking re-election for a third term. His campaign is dedicated to helping underrepresented communities strengthen their political voices. By running a grassroots campaign based on the belief that everybody counts, everybody matters, Keith will increase voter turnout and help elect progressive candidates at every level of government.
