In these tough economic times, Senator Barbara Boxer’s top priority is creating jobs and getting our economy back on track. She’s fighting to create clean energy jobs, create private sector jobs by improving our infrastructure, and end tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas and instead give companies a financial incentive to create jobs here at home.

Senator Boxer was a leader on the Wall Street reform bill, and her amendment clarified that taxpayers would never again foot the bill to bailout big financial institutions. As Chair of the Environment and Public Works Committee, she is leading hearings to get to the bottom of the Gulf oil spill. Senator Boxer has been a fighter for our families and small businesses.
